### Orca (billing & money)

Subscribe, invite seats, set hourly rates, run pay for approved hours, and VA payouts via Stripe Connect.

- Not an employer of record — contractor payments only; no tax withholding or benefits
- Marketplace trial escrow is separate from Team OS pay runs
- Phone / softphone is built but not sold publicly yet

## FAQs

### Do I have to hire on Orca first?

No. Bring your own VAs by email invite. Hire free from the directory when you need another seat, then Add to Team OS.

### Is marketplace trial escrow the same as Team OS pay?

No. Trial/engagement escrow is the hire marketplace path. Team OS pay runs only use Command Center approved hours.

### Do invited VAs pay separately?

No. The owner subscribes; VAs access via Orca SSO at no seat fee. They must finish free Stripe Connect payout setup to receive pay.

### Team OS facilitates contractor payments between you and independent VAs. Orca is not an employer of record, does not withhold taxes, and does not provide benefits.
